Squash Braised in White Wine with Italian Sausage, Peppers and Onions
It was time to cook those lovely squash that my friend Jamal had dropped of a couple of days ago. I didnt have much of an idea for these guys throughout the week and I wanted to use up some of the things in my fridge. After noticing some Italian sausage that needed to be cook things started to come together. Next I grabbed a half bottle of Sauvignon Blanc that had not been finished (some one dropped the ball on that one) a white onion, a red bell peper, mozzarella and green onions.Salt and pepper to taste and Voilà! A quick and beautiful dinner.

Sunday Brunch My Favorite Meal Of The Week
Court and I headed down to the French Quarter Sunday for brunch and ended up eating at a place that I have been wanting to try for a while, its called Eat. (900 Dumaine St) http://www.eatnola.com/ . Its a small place that had a mix of locals and tourist. The atmosphere had a slight moderen feel with the colors along with the design of the menu and web site made it a nice break from the normal Quater feel. (But you still knew you were here) When you go dont forget that its BYOB, so grab your champagne or sparkling and get down to Eat. Eat also has one of my favorite artist all over the restaurant. If you ever make it over to Breaux Bridge La please check him out. http://www.kellyguidry.com/
